WELCOME TO CONSUMMATION MINISTRIES
"Consummation"
When you see this title, what first comes to your mind? It may be the “consummation” of the marriage relationship.
The first dictionary definition for the word “consummation” speaks of the union realized by husband and wife in marriage. No human experience excels the ecstasy achieved in the intimacy of marriage. Anyone who has known firsthand this bonding of two people into one can only stand in awe at the wonder of God’s creation.
But there is a greater “consummation” that excels the unity of husband and wife.
A Greater "Consummation"
There is a greater “consummation” that excels the unity of husband and wife. It is the consummation of all God’s purposes in time and history as realized in the union of Jesus Christ the Son of God with his people.
The prophet Hosea depicts the LORD as a husband to his people. He will “allure her” and “speak tenderly to her” (Hosea chapter 2, verse 14). She will call the LORD “my husband” (Hosea chapter 2, verse 16). The prophet Isaiah declares, “Your Maker is your husband…As a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so will your God rejoice over you” (Isaiah chapter 54, verse 5 and chapter 62, verse 5). According to the Apostle Paul, husbands are to love their wives “just as Christ loved the church” (letter to the Ephesians, chapter 5, verse 25).
In the final book of the New Testament, the Apostle John sees the people of God “prepared as a bride, beautifully dressed for her husband” (Revelation 21, verse 2). John declares, “The wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready” (Revelation chapter 19, verse 7).
The "Consummation of Consummations"
The “consummation of consummations” comes when time and history reach their climax with the perfected union of Christ as the groom and his people as the bride. Consummation Ministries will focus on the movement toward that climax—when all time and history, all the purposes of God as revealed in Holy Scripture, find their consummate fulfilment in Jesus the Christ. As our motto says,
“All God’s Word for All God’s World, Consummating in Christ”.
May the God of Creation and Redemption fill your heart with ecstasy as you experience more and more of the consummate unity of the Christ with his people. All blessings to you in Christ,

The The vision of Consummation Ministries is best summarized by its motto: All God’s Word for All God’s World Consummating in Christ. Paul writes that all Scripture is God-breathed so that the man of God may be perfected, fully equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16). A most fruitful way for grasping the whole of Scripture involves seeing the whole from the perspective of its organic growth across redemptive history. In addition, to view the whole of Scripture consummating in the person and work of Jesus Christ provides fresh stimulation for a healthy growth in the faith that saves and transforms.
Consummation Ministries is designed to search the whole of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation in terms of this progressive unfolding of the glorious redemption prophesied and fulfilled in Jesus Christ. This redemption is best perceived in its world-wide dimensions by exploring its far-reaching implications for the whole of God’s creation.
Drawing on the rich tradition of biblical exposition demonstrated in the work of Christ’s godly servants such as John Calvin, B. B. Warfield, J. Gresham Machen, and Geerhardus Vos, Consummation Ministries commits itself to ‘follow in their train’. By searching the Scriptures afresh from the perspective of redemptive history, it is our prayer that the Church of Jesus Christ may experience the blessing of new insights into the totality of scriptural revelation with contemporary relevance which shall create a living hope with regard to expectations of the future.
In the context of biblical theology, the consummation means the final completion and ultimate end of all things marked by the return of Jesus Christ and the full realization of the Kingdom of God.
